Hai
[It is that] life has been a mixture of the hectic and the [humdrum]. Ever since I docked, it would apepar that news of my increased wealth has got round. Suddenly there are "fellow-students" at my elbow day and night, and all of them pleading sudden and crucial poverty. Even my instructors drop hints to me that I should purchase this module or that add-on to increase my chances in the upcoming examinations.
And the techs in the docking bay tell me that my ships need to have individual names, so that they can identify them to me, and tell me what work needs doing on which. (And I am sure that, once named, they will insist on painting the new registry details onto the hull, at a small charge).
And my studies themselves are not going well -- I am finding that I yearn to be out missioning, rather than in the labs doing my hours of practicals, and the library fulfilling my quota of assignments.
There are two beacons on the horizon, though -- I am teaching myself astrometrics from a holoreel I have bought, and I have been able to get back in touch with Hon'ble Jenni, who says she will fly down and help me fit out my Moa, when I have some free time. Which loks like being in around three weeks.
Now I must go back to the books --- Professor Orsenfeldtz wishes me to present on hyper-dimensional monotremata at the seminar in 2 days' time.
